Natural Lift Facial Massage
The Natural Face Lift Massage, whilst helping you to look and feel younger, is more than just a beauty treatment as it also helps improve health and well-being.
The treatment not only helps to reverse many adverse effects that have already occured to your skin but can go a long way to delaying or preventing further damage in the future. If that's not enough, facial rejuvenation can leave you feeling relaxed and stress free.
What is it?
This amazing face lifting massage treatment incorporates a unique blend of highly effective massage techniques drawn from both Japanese and Indian face massage also known as Facial Rejuvenation or Natural Lift. It also incorporates complementary techniques from Acupressure, Facial Reflexology and Lymphatic Drainage Massage helping to rid the body of toxins.
The techniques act as a natural facelift, helping you feel and look younger. It is a gentle non-invasive approach to looking younger which works primarily by freeing constrictions both within the facial muscles and in the connective tissue.
At the pace we live our lives, we all have tension that builds up in our scalp, face, neck and shoulder muscles. Hectic thoughts and pent-up emotions casue these muscles to tighten and constrict, which can also lead to chronic aches and pains. Prolonged muscle tension can impede the flow of blood to the tissues and starves them of nutrients and oxygen. This encourages ageing and the formation of wrinkles as the face loses its muscle tone and elasticity and begins to sag.
Facial rejuvenation also works on the structure of the skin, to ease restrictions and lift up the face. Most of the skin is made up of connective tissue, which is formed from fibres of proteins, such as collagen and elastin. These fibres weave together to form a flexible web-like structure. In younger tissues, the fibres slide past each other freely, giving suppleness and flexibility. Over time, toxic by-products build up in the skin, causing the fibres to lock together, so that the skin loses much of its mobility. Facial rejuvenation helps to release the tissues, gently allowing the connective tissue to regain its freedom and elasticity.
Lymph and facial rejuvenation
Excess fluid under the skin and the build-up of toxins can be seen on the face, leaving it looking saggy, dull, grey and puffy. If the lymph system gets overloaded you can see the effects in the condition of your skin, such as the appearance of spots, blackheads and dry patches. Massaging the facial tissues helps to speed up the drainage of lymph and the removal of toxins. Unblocking the lymph nodes of the neck also helps promote lymph drainage of the face.
